Experience

My teaching experience is centered around hands-on research training and mentoring of undergraduate honors thesis students and research assistants in the laboratory. My priority is to guide students through the research process from the inception of a testable hypothesis and data collection through to analysis and effective communication of the results in the form of a poster presentation, thesis, and ultimately, a peer-reviewed publication.

Outside of the laboratory, I have held regular guest lectures on memory, emotion, and perception at Boston College and Boston University. I have also participated in over 7 hours of formal teaching professional development activities at Boston College through the Apprenticeship in College Teaching (ACT) program on topics such as Classroom Climate and Management, Syllabus Design, Grading, and Teaching Students with Disabilities/Universal Design.

I have two semesters of experience as a TA at Boston College^ and prior experience as a TA and calculus tutor at Northeastern University.
